These unique motorcycles were produced for one year and only 1200 were ever sold. This fine example is #370 world renowned fairing designer and "motorcycle hall of famer" craig vetter was commissioned to come up with something "different and exciting"... Vetter's goal was to design a bike that captured the flat track craze along with the chopper culture of the time. This is how the 1973 triumph hurricane was born. A collectors dream bike. There will never be another production motorcycle like it! A few parts on this beauty were tastefully chromed back in the "chrome crazy" 1970's. The chrome shows no signs of pitting or peeling and is very bright. The conical wheel hubs, driver foot pegs, top and rear engine mounts, and the center stand were all chromed. This ia a 44 year old original survivor and its has some imperfections. There is a ding in the middle exhaust muffler... An oem replacement muffler is included in the sale. The triple clamp has a hairline crack in both sides... An oem replacement triple clamp is included in the sale. The tachometer does not function. The cable from the engine spins freely. I believe it can be repaired, but a correct, functioning replacement tachometer is included in the sale. Also included is a set of 3 disassembled carbs for parts, etc. There is a small chip on the top of the gas tank near the rubber plug, as well as a repair at the front right of the tank nearest the triple clamp. Also included is a set of 3 disassembled carbs for parts, etc. My apologies for the pictures that are not upright. Ebay has a new seller format and i was not able to correct them. The 19" front tire is original. The 18" rear tire is a new dunlop. The bike has a clear title from summer triumph in fresno ca. Here is great opportunity to own a classic piece of motorcycle history! Also it only has an engine and frame number, there is no VIN on it but the title has it.. The only damage is when a neighbor talked my dad into putting a rear tail-light on the fender and it started to crack (motocross don't need tail-lights). This is a historic motorcycle in that Triumph tried to break into motocross with a 4-Stroke engine and it is the last year so it is the rare original blue paint 50 Miles✔ Tail light

almost everything on the motorcycle is original (with the exception of the gators and a few rubber parts), the rubber on the foot pegs, nuts and bolts, seat, gauges, controls, Lucas turn signals, handle bar, paint, shocks, tie wraps etc, are all original, it even still has the original tires. I put a new correct battery in the bike and all lights and controls work as intended (even the original Lucas flasher!). All the chrome is in excellent condition including the wheels
