It has an electric start 250cc engine and comes with the original 125 cc engine in good condition. The bike was rebuilt/restored 10 years ago and has low miles. The 250cc is a fit in that mounts on the original mounts and frame was not modified

For auction here is a very original, unrestored 1973 honda tl 125 trials bike. Very original - i'm only the third owner. The has not been restored. Cool little off road bike! It was last ridden in 1986 when brought out of long term storage a few years ago. I cleaned the carb, filled it with new gas and away i went. As was stated in a recent auction, most all tl125's were used up, modified, and ridden to death by their owners back in the mid 1970's. The bike still has the original levers, chain and sprockets, cables, paint, and full original exhaust system. I think the tires may even be original – if they are this bike has very low miles. The seat has no tears or rips in the cover and foam is good. The fuel tank has a few dings, dents and scratches as shown in the pics. The plastic side covers, often missing on these bikes are not cracked. The original kill switch still works! Starts, runs and shifts as it should. Still has the original linkage shift lever. Fork tubes have no pitting or corrosion on chrome surfaces. The fenders and engine covers show some visible scratches and wear. I touched up one of the engine cases. I don’t see any rust on the bike to speak of. The rims are in excellent condition. There can't be many tl125's left that are this clean or original. These bikes now are rapidly appreciating cult bikes. Rare original exhaust pipe and spark arrestor in very good condition. Very low serial number (matching). Starts in a few kicks hot or cold. First sold in 1973 but titled as a 1974. I have a clean, current ca. Off road title and an owners manual for it. Does not appear to have any bent or broken fins. No rust to speak of. I've degreased/washed the bike since the pics were taken so it looks better than the pics now. Thanks for looking and bid early and often!!! I'm consistently rated a top rated by ebay!
