New engines can be purchased online for $1400, rebuild kits for $200, but I don't have the equipment, tools, space, or experience to remove an engine and install a new one or to rebuild the engine so I've decided t. I had it briefly checked out by a mechanic, he said he would have to drop the engine to really find out what's wrong with it but told me from the sound it likely needs a rebuild. Has some surface rust and a couple small dinks on the rear right corner, but overall it looks great
