Ad descriptionmy apologies for the rather lengthy ad, however, i think that someone whom is considering buying a vehicle, especially without seeing it in person, and from a person they don't know, should have as much detailed information they can about it and the seller. I see no point in posting copies of the original brochures like some people do possibly trying to make their vehicle seem better than it might actually be. I also have it advertised locally in another ad so it may sell from that ad before the auction ends. Ebay feedback and seller informationebay feedback is extremely important . It costs around $1000. 00 to the east coast including florida and new york. Pick up time is around 3 days and delivery time is around 5 days. I do not use shippers that transfer vehicles from one truck to another. Why are we selling itshe does not want to sell it. I bought it from him for my wife to drive around 10 years ago and she only drove it a few times a week. We have driven it as far as 250 miles in one trip. We have never had a significant problem with it. Both he and my wife are very cautious and slow drivers, so the only time the engine has ever been revved more than around 3500 rpm is when i have driven it. I have revved it up to 6000 just a couple of times and it was still going. Most of the driving has been on the freeway which puts far less stress and wear on the engine and transmission than driving it in stop and go traffic around town does. Because this car has always been babied, the engine, transmission, and the differential etc are in incredible condition. It runs and drives very well and the air conditioning blows cold. The engine never runs hot even when idling in traffic with the air conditioning on in 100 degree weather. It has never been smoked in so it does not smell like an old used ash tray or a perfume air freshener or old spice after shave inside. It is in good cosmetic condition overall with no acidents. It has a clean autocheck report which is more accurate than carfax which i can email to anyone that is interested in seeing it.. It is an original southern california vehicle that has been serviced regularly and has never been stored near the ocean or driven on salted roads etc, which partially accounts for the nice rust free condition it is in. It has also need kept in the garage most of the time when it was not being driven which is why the headlights are not yellowed and the paint is not peeling or heavily faded. The title is in my wife's name and it is not salvaged. Optionsit is loaded with leather seats and the usual power options including air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors , cruise control and tilt steering wheel etc and everything works properly. It also has a factory cd player, however, the amplifier recently stopped working. The wheels are the factory aluminum ones which are chrome plated. Service historyit has always been inspected and serviced as per the service guide. Manualsit has all the original manuals. Emissions test and engine conditionit recently easily passed the stringent california emissions test. The emissions test also provides data that can be used to partially access ad engines overall condition, because the more wear it has, the higher its emissions levels will be. I posted of an emissions test we had done just 12,000 miles ago. We had another done just 600 miles ago but i can't find it, however, none of the levels changed. Carfax vs autocheck vehicle history reportsi use autocheck because it is more accurate and detailed than carfax and there have been no accidents. Transmissionit was just serviced and shifts very solid just like it did when it was new. It also shifts sold into overdrive. Engine compartmentthere are no leaks and the entire engine compartment is extremely clean including the paint on the fender wells which usually gets faded and dingy looking. Interiorseats - the fronts have the typical stress cracks that all leather seats eventually get, but they are not torn all the way through and are still in reasonable condition. The drivers seat foam is xlnt and not mashed down from having a heavy person sitting in it. No one has ever sat in the rear seats. The dash pad is perfect with no cracks or fading. The wood is nice and not all scratched up. Steering wheelthe leather on the steering wheel is nice and not heavily worn or dry cracked from the sun. Headliner - the headliner looks like new. Carpet - it is always had floor mats so the carpet itself is in very good condition. Scents - since it was never smoked in it does not smell like an ash tray. It also hasn't been "deoderized" with the smell of cheap perfume or a scented "air freshener" fob that hangs on the mirror etc. Bodythere are a couple extremely small dings on the right side but they didn't show up in the close up side photo. A paintless dent removal person could easily remove them for a nominal fee, however, most people wouldn't think they are bad enough to bother with. There are no waves or ripples in sides of the body and it is laser straight as can be seen in the photos. There is zero rust and it has never been driven on salted roads or stored near the ocean where the salt air could corrode it. The undercarriage is also very clean and not caked up with mud or oil or road grime etc and there isn't even any glaringly obvious surface rust anywhere on the bottom side. Paintall the paint is original and it still has a very nice shine as can be seen in te reflection photos i posted, and there is zero peeling, lifting, or significant fading. The door jambs are also very clean as can be seen in the photos. The bottom inside edge of the doors looks showroom new. Transmissionit has the heavy duty 5r55e five speed auto and it shifts very crisp and solid in all the gears just like it did when it was new. Brakesthe rotors are smooth and not heavily grooved from wear and the vehicle stops perfectly straight if the brakes are applied hard from 50 mph with no hands on the steering wheel. Steering and suspensionthere are no obvious klunks or rattles when going over bumps or small pot holes etc and there is absolutely zero play in the steering wheel.
