Many were painted to look like this, but very few are original red on black paint code stamped. This truck is in overall great condition, especially for its age! Most of these trucks were modified by farmers, destroyed, or just left to rot in the fields... This is a great truck that was kept indoors for many many years, it needed no rust repair anywhere! I bought this truck with great intentions, but ended up just cleaning, painting, and keeping it in storage. The body is all metal with no bondo anywhere, the dents in the body are solid metal! It has the original inline six that looks to be 100% complete! It looks to have been running not too long ago, but i haven't tried to do anything. Some parts look newer like the distributor cap, points, starter, carb looks excellent, and there's gas in the tank, but i have not ever tried to start it, and i don't know if it even turns over. I don't have any 6-volt batteries, and i haven't had any luck trying to turn it over by hand. I was just going to put a 4bt diesel or something newer in it anyway, but it very well may run with little to no effort! Clean and complete interior, newer upholstery, gauges will need going through and they're all there! Still has the wood under the steel floor bed, which looks to be in decent shape! -fresh color correct paint! (grills, trim, bumpers, weather strip, etc, all removed, cleaned)-fresh upholstery and trim.-new glass all around.-new tubes.-full undercarriage steam cleaned, sealed, and painted.-zero miles since paint, and "restoration".-clean ca title without back-fees. This power wagon will make for a very easy and highly profitable restoration, or a super impressive daily driver just the way it is! Located in san diego, will help with shipping!

Other than that, the body is solid no rust other than a little surface rust here and there where the paint has scratched or rubbed through. Classic car marketing, inc. This 1949 dodge power wagon woody fire truck is in museum quality condition. Purchased by the fire department in cooperstown, new york in 1949, this power wagon was used as the battalion chief’s vehicle. The odometer shows 13,505 actual miles, documented by the previous owner as true mileage. Power is supplied by the original 230 flathead inline 6 cylinder with original transmission and drive train. Professional and meticulous restoration and custom fabricated woodwork, documented, with photos. Garage kept after the restoration. About 10 years ago, the high side pickup bed was removed and a c. Drawn custom wood body was meticulously fabricated and added to the original chassis. The materials used were top grade oak and ash, with six coats of premium marine varnish then sanded to perfection. Show quality original sheet metal paint color sanded and buffed to a deep shine. The “gold leaf” lettering and graphics were hand applied, depicting the theme of the original owner and battalion chief’s initials. The mechanisms, original pump, and accessories operate properly (including siren and emergency lights), and have been restored to the highest level. Barton front mounted pump rebuilt and was recently re-painted, the brass was removed, polished, and high tech ceramic clear coated. This is a multiple show winning, spectacular, “one of a kind” power wagon woody fire truck that is a “must have” to complete any collection. Custom fabricated ultra 22’ enclosed trailer with approximately 100 miles since new, especially made for the power wagon is also available.

Now this truck will need work but it has a good start with the 360 conversion. This is no ordinary 360 although stock ive managed to get 350hp and about 380 ft lbs. This is a 10:1 motor so 91 oct only. Truck has some over head cab rust but is really straight over all. All im trying to do is get mostly what ive put into it. Want to start my new project! Motor has less than 2000 miles on it. This is a short wheel base w100. Dana axels front and rear. 4. 11 rearend. Do me a favor take it off my hands while i still have money in my pockets.
