Looks even better in person, no way to capture how clean it is. Just don't find them like this anymore, anywhere. 1985 635csi euro model. Imported from belgium in 1985 and has been in san diego ever since. I bought it off the original owner. Have all documentation including original dealer invoice and sales contract, build sheet, import order form, copy of original title and registration, etc. Car was imported and federalized (cat converter, us odometer, rear turn signal indicators) with cooperation of belgian bmw dealer in '85 and has been registered in california ever since. I have all the epa & dot docs detailing what was done and when. Only 52,000 original and documented miles. 100% stock original. Car is in fantastic condition. Interior is flawless and nearly perfect. Dash is perfect, no cracks or splits. Seats like new with almost zero wear, no cracks, no tears, supple but supportive leather. Original paint is excellent, all original trim excellent, glass is all original and perfect, all chrome perfect, zero rust, no body or paint work ever. Always garaged, has been in climate-controlled storage for the last 20+ years. Purchased and owned by wealthy car collector who recently passed. Factory 17" us spec bbs wheels. Automatic transmission. Original working radio in trunk. Highly sought-after delphin metallic over pearl beige. Engine dynos at 257 WHP and 231 Wtq which converts to 300 hp and 271 tq. The engine is completely rebuilt new pistons,oil pump, bearings, Fahey hub, valve job, Fahey exhaust gear (retard), all new timing gears guides and chain. The body is perfect with no dents or dings. The paint is a professional respray in it’s original Delphin Metallic color. The fuel pump was replaced at 195K and the distributor was rebuilt at 195K. 1985 bmw m6 "m635" 2 door coupe,this is a rare european gray market import model. It is claimed to be 400lb lighter than the us models. It also hasmore horsepower, 286vs256, compared to the us models. It actually feels faster than my 1982 porsche 911 sc. Best of all is the soundfrom that sweet inline 6 bmw m1 derived engine! Lots of documentation and service history. Recent wheel alignment. The color isdolphin gray metallic, and is by many considered the best color for the e24 body. It looks absolutely magnificent! Interior of this car is black leather sports seats. New carpet recently installed. Dash board isalmost perfect, no cracks, only one dime size blemish in an out of view position. It comes with two sets of wheels. It currently wears a set of bbs style 5 17" with fresh tires. Included is a set of factory bbs rs 061 three-piecewheels, which are very sought after. Value of these are now between $1000 and $2000! Bmw discontinued these due toreliability problems. The ones included are recently refurbished and one of them has been professionally repaired. They are great for show use and originality. This car touches all the senses of a piston-head. Great looks, fantastic sound, good performance, nimble handling. Also has electric sunroof. Itis just as good for long trips, as for short trips to local classic car events. It gets pretty good gas mileagetoo. I valued this car out of the 1987 bmw m6 value quote i got from hagerty. I consider it as a vehicle condition 3. Itmight be difficult to judge from the pictures why this is not a condition 2 car. Here are the underlying facts thati used to decide on condition. It has a fresh, professional paint job. Body was in excellent shapebefore the paint job, but the original paint had been damaged by the sun, and was impossible to get to shine. The odometer does not work (as on many e24). Mileage can therefore not be confirmed, mileage is estimated, based onservice records. Odometer reads 65,800 miles. Interior is not as delivered from the factory. It was delivered with comfort seats, but has now the much morecomfortable sports seats. Also the interior color was originally tan. The front seats are in good condition fortheir age, with one small tear, and the rear seats look good, but would benefit from a re-upholstery. Carpet isnew, but non-oem. Sunroof/Moonroof
